P-Pop stands for Punjabi Pop, and Karan Aujla is very much the face of where this sound is going. His 2025 album P-Pop Culture debuted at number one on Spotify in both India and Pakistan, hit number four in Canada, and topped Apple Music charts in all three countries.
The album debuted at number one on Spotify in both India and Pakistan and number four in Canada, and topped Apple Music charts across all three countries.
He was the most-streamed Punjabi artist on Spotify globally in 2024. The scale of his audience isn’t just the South Asian diaspora, either.
Ikky is Ikwinder Singh, a Canadian producer and composer based in Rexdale, Ontario. He’s racked up more than 2 billion streams worldwide from his catalogue of collaborations and has toured internationally alongside Aujla, performing to stadium crowds from London to Mumbai.
Rod Laver Arena sits inside Melbourne Park on Olympic Boulevard, right alongside the MCG and AAMI Park. Rod Laver Arena is Melbourne’s premier indoor arena.
The show starts at 8:00 PM. Gate times for this event are TBC and subject to change, so keep an eye on the official Rod Laver Arena event page for updates closer to the date.
Tickets are available through Ticketek. General on-sale opened on Friday, 19 June at 11:00 AM AEST. Before the night, download your tickets directly to your digital wallet. The venue specifically recommends doing this in advance so you’re not scrambling at the gates.
If you bought a VIP package, Live Nation will contact you separately.
Every single retail, food, and drinks outlet inside Rod Laver Arena is cashless. Credit and debit cards only. Leave the notes in your wallet at home, or better yet, don’t bring them at all since they won’t help you.
Your bag must be A4 size or smaller. If your bag is bigger than that, it won’t get through the gate.
If you need to bring a larger bag for a valid reason, cloaking is available through Kia Arena or Show Court 3. Note that any items on the venue’s prohibited list won’t be accepted for cloaking either, so check the Rod Laver Arena Conditions of Entry before you head out.
The show features high-production elements including flashing lights, lasers, strobes, haze, and pyrotechnics. If you or someone you’re attending with is photosensitive or has another relevant medical condition, this is worth factoring into your planning beforehand.
Public transport is your best option. The venue is clear about this, and it’s good advice. Melbourne Park is a 10-minute walk from the CBD via Birrarung Marr or Tanderrum Bridge.
You’ll need a valid Myki card for all public transport within Melbourne (except within the Free Tram Zone). These can be topped up at machines at major stations including Flinders Street and Southern Cross.
Parking is at the Eastern Plaza Car Park, accessed via Entrance D on Olympic Boulevard. Pre-booking is strongly recommended because drive-up spaces sell out. Bookings close at midnight the night before the concert.
If you need accessible parking, it must be pre-booked through Ticketek. Don’t leave that to the last minute.
